DAY 1: ADDIS ABABA- HAWASA – YIRGALEM (160KM 2HRA )

After early breakfast to transfer to Bole Airport for a 10:30 AM flight. Upon landing, our team will warmly greet you and ensure you're all set for the exciting journey ahead. Prepare for a scenic 2-hour drive to Alet Wondo, where the fascinating Wottona Boltuma Coffee Cooperative awaits. Here, you'll have the exclusive opportunity to immerse yourself in the Sidama Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Union. Witness the meticulous process of coffee bean transformation, from washing and roasting to grinding and packaging, in an unforgettable excursion that promises to delight your senses. we'll leisurely journey back to Yiregalem in the late afternoon. DAY 2: YIRGALEM- YIRGA CHEFE -HAWASA (260KM, 4HRS)

Begin your day with a morning filled with exploration and cultural immersion after a satisfying breakfast. Your journey starts with a scenic drive to Yirega Chiefe, where you'll discover into the heart of coffee culture amidst lush plantations and traditional coffee ceremonies. En route, take a detour to discover one of the captivating villages nestled along the way. In Yirega Chiefe, esteemed Yirga Chefe Coffee Producers’ associations awaits your exploration, offering insights into the art and tradition of coffee cultivation. After a morning of discovery, recharge with a delightful lunch in Dilla before setting off on your afternoon journey back to Awassa. Where we will stop to plantation of sidama coffee.

DAY 3 : HAWASA - ARBAMINCH ( 200KM 3HRS)

Following breakfast, we'll get on on a scenic drive of 200 kilometers south to Dorze. En route, we'll make a captivating stop at the Alaba cultural village, renowned for its vibrant painted houses. Arriving at DorzeHaizo, nestled 23 kilometers north of Arba Minch in the Gughe Mountain chain, you'll be immersed in the unique traditions of the Dorze tribes. Witness the intricate art of weaving as they skillfully craft their homes and cloth. Marvel at the towering cone-shaped bamboo huts and delve into the process of cotton weaving. Indulge in the flavors of Dorze cuisine with a taste of Kocho, a traditional staple food made from Enset trees, and savor the local brew. Our journey continues with an exploration of the lively weekly tribal market in Chencha, a mere 7 kilometers away. DAY 4: ARBAMINCH- KONSO- ARBORE_TURMI-(230 KM, 150KM PAVED, 80KM GRAVEL, 6 HRS)

Today, after an early breakfast, we embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Konso. Here, we'll explore the 16th-century Gamoya Konoso traditional village, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the terraced farm fields and iconic Waka totem poles while gaining insight into their unique nine-clan community structure. Along the way, seize photo opportunities both en route and within the villages. After a quick lunch break, we journey to Turmi, with a stop at Arbore, home to the Tesmay and Arbore tribes. At an Arbore tribal village near Mount Buska, you'll encounter striking Arbore women with dark skin and strong features. Witness their traditional attire, adorned with colorful beads, and their huts made from tree branches. We then continue our drive to Turmi for an overnight stay at Buska Lodge.

DAY 5: TURMI - KORCHO TURMI (90 KM ONE WAY, GRAVEL, 3HRS )

Get ready for another early start! We're hitting the road to Koro, winding through lush countryside until we reach the stunning curve of the Omo River at Korcho village. Here, we'll meet the Kara tribe, known for their incredible facial and body painting traditions. With only around 3,000 individuals left, the Kara offer a unique glimpse into their culture. After a quick lunch,. We will ahead to gurdo hamar village , we'll camp at Gurdo Hamar village, allowing us to get a closer look at their daily lives. Keep an eye out for the Hamar women's distinctive cheekbones and intricate copper necklaces. Don't miss the chance to join in the evening's evangadi, a traditional Hamar dance under the full moon. DAY 6 : TURMI - OMORATE - JINKA (ALL PAVED, GRAVEL, 1:30HRS ONE WAY)

At 6:00 AM, we depart from Turmi for Omorate, the ancestral home of the Dassanach tribe, believed to be descendants of the Bantu people. Like other tribal communities in the region, the Dassanach creatively incorporate chain links and Western cast-offs into their decorative arts. Our journey includes crossing the recently constructed Omo River bridge, leading us to a remote Dassanach tribal village situated just 20 kilometers away., this village offers a less touristy and authentic experience. Here, we'll have the opportunity to capture intimate moments of daily life, from women cooking over open fires and grinding cornmeal to men tending to their flocks. DAY 7: JINKA-MURSI-JINKA- ADDIS

Get ready for another early start at 5:30 AM! We'll embark on an excursion to a Mursi village located approximately 66 kilometers from Jinka. The Mursi people are among the oldest ethnic groups in Ethiopia, known for their distinctive way of life. Their traditional dwellings consist of low huts crafted from straw leaves. One of the most striking aspects of Mursi culture is the adornment worn by women, including terra cotta jewelry that adorns their enormously stretched lower lips and ear lobes. Prepare to be captivated by the unique traditions and customs of the Mursi community during our visit to their village. Return back to jinka and procced to jinka airports for the afternoon flight
