This one-of-a-kind weekend getaway to Bale Mountain National park offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the culture in depth. During your hikes, you will witness breathtaking Afroalpine mountain landscapes and rare or endangered creatures such as the Ethiopian wolves, Menelik's bushbuck, mountain nyala, warthog, reedbuck, Gerry duiker, and baboons. DAY 1: FLY TO BALE ROBE AND DRIVE TO BALE MOUNTAINS NP

Transfer to the airport for your flight to bale robe. On arrival, we will meet you at the airport and procced to dinsho, drive across the magnificent Afro Alpine mountain scenery will bring you to Dinsho, the Bale Mountain National Park headquarters. We will trek through headquarters, in which we'll get a chance to spot and see some endemic/endangered animals, such as: Menilik’s Buchbuck, Mountain Nyala, Warthog, Reedbuck, Gerry Duikers and Baboons. Also endangered birds such as: Black-headed siskin, Wattled Ibis, and Abyssinian Long claw. O/N camping in the national park, with the options Over night at lodge

DAY 2: GOBA – SANETTI PLATEAU – HARENNA FOREST – GOBA

Today with early moring start we drive to the stunning views and its easy accessibility to both sanetti plateau and Harenna forest. The plateau is home to the main attraction of the national park, one hours drive away from Goba . The Ethiopian wolf is the worlds most rare canid, with some 2/3 of the remaining population (350) inhabiting the sanetti plateau and proceed to the second highest point Tullu Deemtu (4377m asl).Then continues to the southern part of the national park – Harenna forest and cloudy forest in Ethiopia. O/N camping in the national park, with the options Over night at lodge

Day 3: Drive to Robe and fly to Addis Ababa

After breakfast, drive back to robe. Then transfer to the airport and take afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa.
